Mildred
Mandelco, 92, Roachdale, died Tuesday at her home near Fincastle. Mrs. Mandleco
was a member of the Fincastle Canasta Club and former Fin castle Country Club.
Member of Russellville Community Church, having formerly been member of Raccoon
Methodist Church and Fincastle Community Church where she was pianist and SS teacher.
She was born May 10, 1916 near Advance in Boone County to Will and Bess Ross
Lawler. She married James E. Mandleco Jr Oct 6, 1941 in Greencastle. He died May 27, 1998. Survivors include
children, Martha Mandleco, Crawfordsville, James E (Cathy) Mandleco III,
Roachdale, Phyllis (Gene) O'Neal, Terre Haute and Carol (Bruce) Wallace,
Lafayette; six grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; two great granddaughters
and six step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents and
siblings Elaine Ross and Malcolm Lawler. Funeral serv are Sat at 11 a.m. at
Russellville Comm Church. Friends may call 408 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to
